Art for Wellbeing

A Studio Gallery in the heart of Eastbourne providing workshops in a professional studio context

The Collaborative Canvas

Situated in the heart of Eastbourne, at the Enterprise Shopping Centre, a hub of local independent restaurants and retailers.

We are a Community Interest Company providing 'Art for Wellbeing’ workshops, a studio/gallery space showcasing the work of Sussex based artists and makers, a registered centre for the Arts Award and an art 'hot-desking' space.

Art for Wellbeing Workshops

We work with local artists to provide workshops to individuals and small groups. We don’t expect our customers to be professional artists and if you haven’t picked up a pencil or paintbrush since school, it really doesn’t matter. We encourage individuals to come along to learn the basics of a variety of water based media and make connections, with informal instruction from our resident Art Facilitators. Workshops can be in small groups or can be offered as one to ones.

Art 'Hot-Desking'

We also offer ‘art hot desking spaces’ for artists and makers to work with others in order to combat creative isolation in daily crafting and making.
